Terms & Conditions

Before securing your wedding date/occasion/1-2-1 session with a deposit, please take the time to read through my terms and conditions. Should you have any questions regarding what you have read please do not hesitate to get in touch to ensure your query is answered before you pay your deposit.

Updated July 2020 – I will also be sending you a document via email which has important information regarding additional terms and conditions applicable during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Payment of your deposit is accepted as confirmation that you have read everything below & the additional COVID 19 document and that you are happy with everything outlined in ALL my terms & conditions. 


For Bridal a £75.00 non refundable deposit is payable to secure the date/service you have requested.
For Occasion Makeup Services & 1-2-1 sessions a £30.00 non refundable deposit is required to secure your date/service.

The date you have requested cannot be guaranteed as ‘yours’ until the payment has been received by myself.
Once your date is secured I will send you an email confirming receipt of payment and the outstanding balance.

The remaining balance* (as stated on your original invoice) for my all services (Bridal, 1-2-1 and Occasion) will be due in full, 4 weeks prior to the date of your wedding/occasion/session.

The invoiced amount stands as it was when my services were booked. Therefore if at a later date the number of adults for my makeup services on the day reduces (at your request) I do withhold the right to request the full payment as invoiced originally.

I do reserve the right to set a minimum number of adults required (i.e Bride plus 2 additional adults) for a Bridal party booking on selected dates. However if this is applicable to your wedding date this will be made known to you prior to paying your deposit.

*The remaining balance may be subject to change should you request additional services (i.e an additional bridesmaid added) at a later date. Any changes you request will be confirmed by an updated invoice.

Your Bridal Trial

Your trial is usually arranged 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. However during peak times/months of the year this timescale is not always suitable and at my discretion I may request a trial take place slighlty earlier however as an experienced professional within my industry this request will always considered by myself to be well within a reasonable timescale to the date of your wedding.

Trials take place at my home in Leicester, on weekdays (Mon-Thurs) during the day.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday are reserved for weddings.
Weekend trials may be able to be arranged to fit around bridal bookings however this cannot be guaranteed and any trials booked on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday may be subject to change. In this instance the trial will then be rearranged to a mutually convenient date.

Unfortunately as weekend trials cannot be guaranteed and having read the terms & conditions prior to your deposit being paid that states trials take place on a weekday I am under no obligation to offer a weekend date.

A record of the products used will be noted during the trial and photos will be taken for my reference only. The trial photos will be not posted on social media prior to the wedding date.
On your trial it is your responsibility and very important to notify me of any skin or health complaints, any known allergies or sensitivities that you are aware of caused by any brands/products.
Please also have this conversation with other members of your bridal party who on the wedding day will be having makeup applied by myself. Please inform me on their behalf at your trial of any skin or health complaints they have so a note can be made ahead of the wedding day.

If other members of your bridal party (i.e. Mother of the Bride or Bridesmaids) would like to have a trial too this will be an additional cost per person and their trials will need to take place on the same date as the trial for the bride. Please inform me of this beforehand so I can allocate additional time at the trial.

On Your Wedding Day

I would be very grateful if an area, well lit (with natural light if possible) can be designated for me with a table or space where I can set up my chair and kit ready for the bridal party.

The notes from your trial will be used however, in some circumstances I may feel it necessary to alter the products used during the trial. This could be due to a change in your skin tone (ie tanning) or a change in skin condition. However you will be made fully aware of this.

Unfortunately I cannot offer makeup ‘touch ups’ free of charge on the day for other guests not booked in for their makeup. Nor do I offer partial makeup application services.

Travel Costs – Bridal Clients

I offer travel for Bridal parties only and included in my package is a 30 mile radius of all round travel from my home postcode LE18. I charge 45p per mile for additional miles.
In addition if there are any parking costs on the wedding day these will also be charged to you.


In the extremely unlikely circumstance I am unable to attend on your wedding/occasion date due to sickness, personal emergency, injury or any other reason not mentioned, I will aim to find a replacement makeup artist. However this cannot be guaranteed. In this scenario a full refund (minus the trial cost of £75.00) will be refunded to you.
If I am unable to attend our 1-2-1 Bespoke Bridal Session on the date agreed we will re-schedule our session on a mutually convenient date in the near future.

Cancellations by you

As a deposit is payable to secure your date for my makeup services, if you then choose to cancel my makeup services after the deposit has been paid this will be not be refunded to you.
If the full payment has been made as agreed 4 weeks prior to your wedding date and you then cancel my makeup services (after the full payment and including the original deposit has been received) unfortunately a refund will not be given.


As mentioned above an additional document will be emailed over to you regarding additional terms and conditions temporarily in place due to COVID-19. Please read this document it has important information you are required to know.

An additional note…

If you do not wish for your photos, review and/or comments to appear on social media or my website in the future please let me know otherwise they may be published.

I may also wish to contact your photographer for professional photos of your wedding day (crediting any published to the photographer who has provided them of course) I would love to use them in the future on my website/social media/in my portfolio to showcase my work to other potential clients. If you have any concerns or questions regarding this please contact me directly.
